Social media influencer Sexyy Red has finally responded after  facing backlash after she had posted  a raw photo of herself on her Instagram page.

The photo, which shows her without any makeup or filters, had made followers react.

She responded to the backlash in a statement when she  explained that her decision to post the unedited photo was a way to promote body positivity and self-love, and to show that everyone has imperfections.

She went on to say that she understands that not everyone will agree with her choice, but that she stands by it and hopes that it will inspire others to feel confident in their own skin.
