So This Is The Much Raved About Structure? – Ireti Doyle Boils

If been vocal had a face behind it, it will be that of Nigerian actress, Ireti Doyle as she rips into the All Progressives Congress over their hype of building a structure.

Nigerian actress and presenter, Iretiola Olusola Doyle, has criticized the political structure claimed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as nothing more than “political theft and violence.”

In a tweet on her official Twitter handle, the actress expressed her disappointment over the widespread violence and irregularities that marred the February 25 presidential election.

“So, this famous structure is not any real ideology or system. Nothing but political theft and violence in its most base forms? All that “intellectual” posturing over the last year was just posturing?” Ireti Doyle tweeted.

The actress’s comment has attracted mixed reactions from Nigerians, with some expressing their agreement with her sentiments while others criticized her for not providing any evidence to support her claim.

The APC, which has been in power since 2015, has often touted its political structure as one of its strengths, with many party leaders claiming that it has helped the party to win elections across the country.

Ireti’s tweet comes at a time when there have been growing concerns about the integrity of Nigeria’s electoral process, with many opposition parties accusing the ruling party of rigging elections and using violence to intimidate voters.

The February 25th presidential election was particularly marred by violence and irregularities, with reports of ballot box snatching, voter intimidation, and violence in several states across the country.

Ireti’s comments are likely to fuel the ongoing debate about the need for electoral reforms in Nigeria, with many calling for greater transparency and accountability in the country’s electoral process.
