Singer, Bobby Valentino Under Investigation For Rape

R&B Singer, Bobby Valentino is being investigated for rape by the Cobb County Police in Georgia.

Authorities confirmed on Thursday that the singer is a suspect in an ongoing rape investigation.

Sgt. Wayne Delk, county police spokesman, said the report came in early Monday accusing the singer, whose real name is Bobby Wilson.

According to Delk, it is an active case and could not give out more than the confirmation. Wilson has not been arrested and there is no warrant for his arrest, Delk said.

A representative for Wilson told TMZ, that they are pursuing legal action “against what appears to be a weak yet calculated attempt to obtain financial gain through ulterior motives in the matter.”
