Silverbird boss Ben Murray Bruce reacts to Ifeanyi Ubah’s death
Silverbird group boss, Ben Murray Bruce has reacted to the news surrounding the passing of former Senator, Ifeanyi Ubah.
In a heartbreaking turn of events, it was confirmed today that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah passed away in London at the age of 52. Though the manner of his death is yet to be confirmed, the Anambra lawmaker is said to have died in the UK.
The news came courtesy of Silverbird boss and former Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce who shared the news and also reacted to the passing of the deceased Senator in a poignant tribute on X (formerly Twitter).

Murray-Bruce expressed his profound grief, stating,
“With a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. His contributions to our nation, both in the oil sector and public service, will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength during this difficult time.”
Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah prior to his death, served was a Nigerian politician representing Anambra South Senatorial District.
Prior to his seat in government, he served as an entrepreneur and businessman, founding the company Capital Oil in 2001 where he served as the CEO.
In 2014, he famously contested the gubernatorial elections under the Labour Party for the Anambra State governorship seat which he lost. And in 2022, he survived an assassination attempt en route to Nnewi where he was attacked by gun men in Enugwu-Ukwu.
