SGF’s George Akume Allegedly Flown Abroad For Medical Treatment

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, is said to have traveled to Germany for emergency medical care.
A senior presidential source stated that the 69-year-old former governor of Benue State was flown out to the European nation roughly five days ago.
According to SaharaReporters, the source said that Akume is now ailing, which is why he was taken abroad for urgent medical treatment.
“Tinubu’s SGF is presently ill and is out of the country. He has been flown to Germany for urgent medical care. He’s been there for five days now,” the source said.
Meanwhile, it has lately been discovered that Akume has been represented at gatherings. The SGF was represented at the National Defence College (NDC) Course 31 graduation ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday by the OSGF’s Permanent Secretary, Special Services, Alhaji Aliyu Shinkafi.
He cited income disparity, environmental damage, resource allocation, and susceptibility to global economic and political upheaval as important hurdles to national economic progress throughout the period.
