Sex For Marks: OAU Sacks Professor Richard Akindele

The Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife has sacked Professor Richard Akindele for allegedly demanding sex from Monica Osagie to upgrade her mark.

Recall that we reported that a certain OAU lecturer, Richard Akindele, a Professor in the Department of Accounting, was alleged to have asked a female student for sex in order to help her pass exams.

However, following numerous court appearances, the Vice Chancellor of the school, Eyitope Ogunbodede on Wednesday announced the sack of the lecturer at a press conference in Ife.

Ogunbodede said the Governing Council found Professor Akindele guilty of all the charges against him.
