Senator Ngwu Boosts Constituents' Development with Overseas Training

Senator Osita Ngwu, who represents Enugu West senatorial district and serves as the Senate Minority Whip, has recently facilitated overseas training opportunities for six constituents.

The training program, focusing on “Inclusive Growth and Poverty Reduction,” is set to take place at the International Poverty Reduction Center in Beijing, Chiverse insights into poverty reduction strategies.

The initiative aims to empower constituents with valuable knowledge and skills to contribute to the overall development and reduction of poverty in their district.

Visa arrangements and travel logistics have been finalized to ensure a smooth experience for the participants during the two-week program.

This effort follows a previous successful training session in China for six constituents from Enugu West in November 2023.

The beneficiaries are encouraged to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country while abroad and utilize the training received to make a positive impact upon their return.

Preparations are also underway for another batch of constituents who will embark on a training trip to Australia, further enhancing their knowledge and skills for community development.
