See Photos as Fayemi, wife and deputy hold thanksgiving
Barely one week after assuming office, the new Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, has held a thanksgiving service to appreciate God for returning him to office, a second time.
The thanksgiving was held today at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral in the state capital of Ado Ekiti. It was attended by his wife, Erelu Bisi and the deputy governor, Bisi Egbeyemi and his wife, Margaret.
Fayemi, who first governed Ekiti, 2010-2014, surely believed that he has a great cause to praise God for giving him a second chance to run the affairs of the state. As he said in his second inaugural speech on 16 October:
“Our most high God who rules the affairs of humankind, has so determined that I should have the rare honour of assuming this office for the second time, to the glory of His name. Indeed, it is the LORD’s doing and it is marvellous in our eyes”, he said.
