The premiere of Tope Oshin’s, ‘Up North’, help on Sunday at the IMAX cinema, Lekki.

The premiere which was tagged “The Grand Durbar” and the dress code “Show me your North” was attended by celebrities such as Mo Abudu, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Noble Igwe, Lala Akindoju, Lota Chukwu, Linda Ejiofor, Jemima Osunde, Adeolu Adefarasin, Damilola Adegbite, Frank Donga, Ufuoma McDermott, Chioma Akpotha, Sharon Ooja, Mai Atafo, Meg Otanwa, Antolecky, Bisola Aiyeola and many others.

Present at the premiere was also cast members such as Banky W, Ibrahim Suleiman, Michelle Dede, Kanayo.O. Kanayo, Rekiya Attah, Rahama Sadau and many more. The premiere also saw important personalities and dignitaries such as The Governor and Emirs of Bauchi.

Directed by Tope Oshin and written by Naz Onuzo and Bunmi Ajakaiye from an original story by Editi Effiong, the movie tells the story of Love, Family Conflict, Female Empowerment as well as the Rich Northern Culture and Tourism.
