SCOAN's future after TB Joshua: What's next?

Three years after the death of its Founder, Pastor Temitope Joshua (TB Joshua), The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) continues to expand and thrive.

SCOAN’s Director of Public Affairs, Pastor Dare Adejumo, confirmed the church’s ongoing growth in an interview with NAN on Thursday in Lagos.

Adejumo assured that under the leadership of Joshua’s widow, Evelyn, the church remains active and vibrant.

SCOAN, headquartered in Ikotun Egbe, Lagos State, has inaugurated a new branch in Akure, conducted numerous revival programmes, and maintained its global crusade tours and weekly charity initiatives.

Joshua, renowned for his philanthropy, passed away on June 5, 2020. Despite his absence, his legacies of evangelism, charity, and humanitarian efforts continue to flourish.

The third anniversary of his death has provided an opportunity for SCOAN members to celebrate his contributions and commit to emulating his compassionate lifestyle.

“It was a great moment to thank God for the times of Prophet TB Joshua. He was a great man of God,” Adejumo stated, reflecting on the enduring impact of Joshua’s ministry.

TB Joshua: Brief history of SCOAN

The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) was founded by Pastor TB Joshua in 1987. Located in Ikotun Egbe, Lagos State, the church quickly gained a global following due to Joshua’s charismatic leadership and reputed healing and prophetic ministry.

TB Joshua’s philanthropic efforts included extensive charity work, providing aid and support to the less fortunate both within Nigeria and internationally.

His sudden death on June 5, 2020, marked the end of an era, but his widow, Evelyn Joshua, has successfully carried forward his mission, ensuring the church’s continued growth and influence.
