Schoolgirl who cried because of her parent’s absence during graduation, receives scholarship
The young female student who shed tears during her graduation, because her parents were financially incapable of attending, has been offered a scholarship.
TopNaija had earlier reported that an 11-year-old Wasilat Bashiru, who happens to be the head girl of God’s Light Group of Schools, Oyo Town, broke down in tears because her parents couldn’t attend her graduation party. Read HERE.

However, a Nigerian couple have offered to place the young girl on scholarship after hearing her story and taking pity on her.
The wife, identified as Oluwafunmi made the promise via Twitter, as she noted that Wasilat deserves an opportunity to shine bright.
She tweeted: “Myself and my hubby @DeleMotors will take over funding her education. She deserves to have a brilliant future. Kayode pls send me a dm lets get the ball roll!! We rise by lifting other.”
