Sanwo-Olu swears in 10 permanent secretaries
The governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, swore in 10 new permanent secretaries on Wednesday at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, Sanwo-Olu enjoined the newly appointed permanent secretaries to uphold the trust the people has placed on them by provide quality service delivery in the discharge of their duties.
The new Permanent Secretaries are:
- Sunday Jokotola (Tutor General District IV),
- Emokpae Ibironke (Commerce, Industry and Cooperative),
- Salami Oyenike (Judicial Service Commission),
- Zainab Oke-Osanyintolu (Parastatal Monitoring Office),
- Sanusi Alake (Debt Management Office)
- Abolaji Abolanle (Education)
- Bolarinwa Afusat (Local Government Establishment, Training and Pensions)
- Engr. Daramola Olufemi Olubunmi (Public Works Corporation)
- Mr. Sikiru Salami, Auditor-General for State Government
- Mr. Obafemi Ogunlana, Auditor-General for Local Government
Governor Sanwo-Olu stated that the new appointments were strictly based on merit and performance track records in previous duty post.
The Head of Service, Mr. Muri-Okunola, mentioned while presenting the new permanent secretaries that the two newly appointed Auditor-Generals for state and local government are operating in acting capacity until they are confirmed by the State House of Assembly.
