Sancho rift: Ten Hag reveals the real reason he is reconciling
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has addressed his rift with player Jadon Sancho and the future of the former Borussia Dortmund star.
Last season, the rift between the two was seen as the stuff of narratives, with Sancho boldly dragging his boss on social media and ridiculing his press conference.

“We can reflect with pride” — Erik ten Hag extends contract
The public fallout led to a lot of reactions, both from the player, the manager and the club itself, with Sancho allegedly being exiled from Manchester United, leading to his loan move and return to Borussia Dortmund.
However, after a successful loan spell with the German side, and a near Champions League triumph against Real Madrid, the 24-year-old winger, who had been exiled by ten Hag following the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal last season has returned to Carington for the pre-season.
Sancho’s attitude in training was publicly criticized last season by the Dutch manager, but it appears both parties are ready to mend fences and move forward.
In an interview with MUTV, Erik ten Hag revealed the real reason behind the burying of the hatchet between the pair,
“As we said, we draw the line. Manchester United needs good players and Jadon is a good player. We have drawn that line and we move on.”
This development quells fears that the £77 million star might seek a permanent move away from Old Trafford. With tensions seemingly resolved, Manchester United fans can look forward to seeing Sancho back in action, potentially revitalized and ready to make a significant impact under ten Hag’s leadership.
The question now is, will this fresh start propel Sancho to new heights, or will the shadows of the past linger between him and Ten Hag? Only time will tell as United gears up for the new season with renewed optimism.
