Sancho Could Become Man United’s Worst Signing

Jadon Sancho may end up being the worst purchase in Manchester United’s history, according to former defender Paul Parke.

Since moving from Borussia Dortmund to the Premier League in 2021, Parker believes Sancho has struggled to adjust.

The English forward has thus far had trouble justifying his $73 million price tag.

Sancho has only managed two goals and one assist in the league so far this season.

The football world is a very short term affair wherein only the moment is appreciated and never what happened in prior seasons, considering results matter more in the present than in the past.

For Jadon Sancho right now, his Manchester United career at the moment hangs on the wave of what he achieved with Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund prior to his transfer to Old Trafford.

Since his Manchester United debut, the England international has seen his performance and his status at the Old Trafford side take a downward turn with teenage sensations like Alejandro Garnacho and Anthony Elanga coming into the shine ahead of him.

According to Manchester United former defender, Paul Parke, this could see the former Dortmund man, become more of the liability for Man United than the star the club believed they had signed.

“He has a lot of issues. He’s never attacking full-backs, passing backwards and is not really challenging his direct opponent.

“The way you play in Germany is completely different. It seems like he will never be able to adapt well enough to be a key player for United.

“If you look at the money the club paid for him, I’d say he could end up being the worst buy in Manchester United’s history,” Parker told Bettors.
