Salah playing hard to get with Liverpool
With Sadio Mane having a one foot out of the door from Liverpool, Mohamed Salah appears to be making his own headlines now as regards his contract issues with Liverpool.
Now, it is being reported by Liverpool correspondent with The Athletic papers, James Pearce that Salah is intent on staying with Liverpool this full season in hopes of leaving the club eventually on a free if a deal is not reached before then.
The journalist reports that the Egyptian is waiting on an improved offer, a little over 5 months since talks had stalled between both parties.
And it is believed that unless there is an improved offer, the Liverpool forward won’t extend and would be very much open to signing for the Reds rivals as he prefers to stay in the Premier League.
According to the reports, the length of the contract is not an issue as he would sign a 2 year deal if the terms were right with him.
What the former AS Roma man is asking for is said to take him within the range of being the 6th best paid player in the world.
