Sadio Mane sends his Love to Liverpool
Sadio Mane may have left Liverpool, but Liverpool hasn’t really left him, and his latest actions go a long way to show his love and respect for the club and those in the club.
In a latest report from Germany, the speedster is said to have sent back to Merseyside gifts to show a touching gesture to the club and its employees.
The Senegalese sent out to the club 150 packages to the club’s employees right down to the cleaning lady and the security guard with a chocolate and a portrait of him along with a handwritten card.
The report comes courtesy of Christian Falk who revealed the report on social media to fans of the player and both clubs.
Sadio Mane made an emotional move to Bayern Munich from the Reds for £35 million after ending his 6 year stint on Merseyside.
At the club, he became one of the most deadly attackers in the world scoring 120 goals and assisting 48 goals in 269 games for Liverpool.
At his time with Liverpool, he became a part of the deadly trident of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino to terrorize defenses across Europe to win trophies between each other.
The Senegalese left the club ushering a new era with the arrival of Uruguayan international, Darwin Nunez to the club.
In a tweet, Falk wrote:
“TRUE✅ Sadio Mané sends 150 packages to the employees of @LFC from the cleaning lady to the security guard, everyone gets a chocolate with a portrait of Sadio and a handwritten card #PodcastBayernInsider— Christian Falk (@cfbayern) August 14, 2022”
Obviously, the famous saying ‘once a red, always a red’ still rings true with the Liverpool legend and it is quite the gesture that will earn the Senegalese all the love on Merseyside.
