Sad one for Williams Uchemba as he mourns Mother

Williams Uchemba, known for his rise from child star to superstar in the Nigerian movie industry, is currently facing the heart-wrenching loss of his mother, Lolo Chinyere Uchembah.

Despite the profound grief, Uchemba is drawing solace from his firm belief that his mother has transcended to heaven, as he movingly expressed in a heartfelt tribute.

In an emotional social media post, the Nollywood star recounted a deeply personal experience.

He shared that mere minutes before receiving the news of his mother’s passing from the hospital, he had a vision of her transitioning to what he described as a heavenly paradise.

In his poignant message, Uchemba detailed the vision of his mother’s departure.

“Rest well Mum. A few minutes before you passed, you came to me in my room. You were physically in the room, yet your surroundings emanated a different place—a place I had never witnessed before. You were smiling at me,” he wrote.

He went on to describe the ethereal scene,

“Other unfamiliar figures were also present, dancing in jubilation as if they had won the lottery. I recognized you instantly, but there was a difference about you. You looked younger—resembling when you were 27 years old—with your hair gracefully resting on your shoulders, neatly brushed.”

According to Uchemba’s account, he implored his mother to return, explaining that their family had been fervently praying for her recovery.

In response, his mother spoke in Igbo, conveying, ‘Alaikiri’m ebe’m nò, ebe’m no mara nma,’ which translates to ‘I like where I am, where I am is beautiful.’

Shortly after her words, Uchemba received a message confirming her passing.

He cited verses from the Bible, including Matthew 5:4 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, which spoke to the blessings bestowed upon those who mourn and the belief in an afterlife.

“Your transition fortified my Christian faith, renewing my belief in life beyond this earthly existence. Your departure reinforced in my heart the certainty of heaven and hell. I rejoice that you have reached the destination for which we all strive,” he shared.

Concluding his tribute, Uchemba conveyed a heartwarming sentiment:

“This isn’t farewell; it’s ‘see you later.’ Rest now, mama, until we reunite. You can call me ‘Don Willy’m’ from above. I love you.”
