Ronke Oshodioke reveals daughter’s brush with death after drinking water laced with bleach
Nollywood actress, Ronke Oshodioke, has narrated how her daughter fell ill after drinking water that had been mixed with bleach by an unknown person, believed to be her daughter’s roommate or friend.
In a video shared on social media, Ronke said that she received a call at around 3:45 am on a Friday, informing her that her daughter, Jumoke, had ingested bleach. She said she quickly rushed to the school’s hospital, where she met her daughter crying and in discomfort.
Ronke explained that it was discovered that someone had poured bleach into her daughter’s water bottle which had water in it, with the intention to harm or even kill her. Jumoke drank the water at around 3 am, and soon after began to feel pains.
The actress revealed that her daughter was taken to three different hospitals before she got better. Ronke did not disclose the name of the private university where the incident occurred, but she warned the school to improve their security measures.
She urged other students with ill intentions to stay away from her daughter and vowed to protect her children from harm. Ronke said that she has just two kids and wouldn’t want anything of such happening to her first child again.
