Ronaldo wants to leave Man United but scared what the Club might do

If there is one man who wants badly out of Man United, it’s none other than football GOAT himself, Cristiano Ronaldo.

He made this reveal not quite long ago when he submitted a transfer request to the club, and ever since then, has missed out on the club’s pre season training session due to what he terms ‘family reasons’.

It is often a ploy used by players trying to force out a move from a club, as seen in the case of Harry Kane at Tottenham last season when Manchester City had interests in signing the striker.

Ultimately, it ended up not working out for the Englishman and it might be one of the reasons, Ronaldo has genuine fears of what the Old Trafford side would do.

The 5 time golden ball winner is clearly a fan of the Champions League, and according to a sports pundit, the Portuguese doesn’t know the sound of the Europa League let alone want to play in it with United.

The player unknown to him has been dragged down to the level of the Europa League which doesn’t fit his brand image, which scares the Portugal international.

According to SportsMail, the player is scared of what the Red devils board might do in ensuring he stays at the club for an additional one year left in his official contract.

With the club spokesman revealing recently:

“Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United party scheduled to depart for our pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia on Friday. He has been granted additional time off to deal with a family issue.”

Although, the club’s spokesman’s next statement is something Ronaldo should be scared of.

“Cristiano remains under contract with Manchester United for another season and is not for sale.”

With the game of ‘will he, won’t he’ continually being played by Man United and Cristiano, the world waits to see how it ends.
