Ronaldo Has A Release Clause That Lets Him Return to England

Cristiano Ronaldo may have been subject to ridicule following his big money move to Saudi Arabia, but according to alleged report, the 5 time golden ball winner may have a way out and trigger a return to England in the premier league.

It has been reported that Cristiano Ronaldo might opt to make an unexpected return to a club competing in the Champions League next season should a certain club from England make top 4 status.

According to Spanish football news source Fichajes, the 37-year-old’s contract with Al Nassr contains a condition that will permit him to play in the Premier League once more.

If Eddie Howe’s team finishes in the top four and makes it to the Champions League, Ronaldo, according to the source, would return to the Premier League and specifically, Newcastle.

RB Sports & Media, PCP Capital Partners, and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia jointly own Newcastle.

After Manchester United ended Ronaldo’s contract in November, he was left a free agent.

The 37-year-old recently signed a contract with Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr, although he might play in the Premier League as early as the next season.

Since his contract with Manchester United was mutually terminated on November 22, he is a free agent.

He recently joined the Al-Nassr club in Saudi Arabia, and on January 3 he will be introduced as a member of the team.
