Rivers United win comfortably at home against Enyimba
Enyimba FC suffered a 2-0 defeate against Rivers United on Monday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium to maintain their lead in the NPFL.
Enyimba had recorded victories in their previous league matches, but met their waterloo when United hosted them to claim all three points.
Ishaq Kayode scored a penalty kick and made his goal count for the season 12, while Chiamaka Madu ended the visitors’ hope with a fabulous finish in the 34th minute.
Stanley Eguma’s side are now 52 points above the league table, leaving Enyimba 20 points behind.
