Reminisce and Bella Shmurda hit the studio, hint on dropping new song
Singers Reminisce and Bella Shmurda hint on releasing a new song soon as they were spotted in the studio together.
The musical duo were spotted in the studio, and there could be dropping a big tune any moment from now.
Reminisce, who was supposed to drop his fifth studio album “Alaye to shey gogo” in 2021, might decide to be dropping his project this year.
The veteran rapper is known for his street credibility. He has already dropped four studio albums: Book of Rap Stories (2012), Alaga Ibile (2013), Baba Hafusa (2015), and El-Hadj (2016). Although he dropped an EP titled ‘Vibes and Insha Allah’ in 2020 to make the totality of his projects five, his official studio album remains four.
Reminisce had posted a video of the two of them in the studio on his Instagram page, expressing his love for the 24-year-old Bella Shmurda.
Reminisce’s first album, Book Of Rap Stories, was released on 31 March 2012. He started recording the album since 2010 after linking up with the studio producer Sarz at Edge Records Studios. The studio allowed him to carve a niche for himself and make the album bilingual.
He went on to release the track Kako Bii Chicken, a commercial song which is recognized as the breakout single. After this, other songs like ‘If Only’, ‘2mussh’ were released. The album was a 13-track album with production credits to Sarz, Legendury Beatz, Joshbeatz, Jospo and PastorChild, The album did well commercially in the southern part of Nigeria.
Bella Shmurda rose to prominence after his debut single “Vision 2020”, and a follow-up (remix) to the single in which he featured Olamide. He released several hit songs in 2020, some of which featured top musicians, one of which is “Cash App” featuring Zlatan. He was nominated for the Headies Award for the next rated in 2020.
In 2020, Shmurda won the awards “Next Rated Male” and “Street Music of the Year” at the City People Entertainment Awards, he was also nominated for “Revelation of the Year” award in the same year.
