Some UK-based Nigerians have caused quite a stir on social media after sharing a video of what a minimum wage per hour got her in the supermarket.
In a video shared online, the lady started off by disclosing an hourly wage in the United Kingdom is £10, which is closed to N14k, to N15k when converted to Naira.
She could be seen entering the store to kick off her shopping. She managed to add a lot of food items and products into the shopping cart, which includes spaghetti, onions, chicken, and more, then moved to the checkout.
After she concluded on her shopping, she revealed that she didn’t exhaust the whole £10, leaving her with two pence left.
Different reactions have trailed the video after it was shared on Instagram by @the.pretty.oreo, with majority surprised about the quantity of stuffs she purchased with that amount.
