Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has pleaded not guilty to all sexual offence charges against him.

Mendy was suspended last year following multiple rape charges laid on him.

The French international denied all nine charges during his trial at the Chester Crown Court.

He will face trial on July 25 over sexual offences against six different women, including seven relating to rape.

The world cup winner was charged on several counts last year, with an additional charge for offences that reportedly happened between 2018 and 2021.
