Ralf Ragnick tells player not to Join Manchester United

Ralf Ragnick, former Manchester United manager refuses to play ambassador to Manchester United as he advises German player, Sasa Kalajdzic from joining the Red Devils.

It is nothing shocking to say Ralf Ragnick had quite the tough time working as interim manager at Old Trafford.

It has become quite the experience that the current Austrian manager wouldn’t want any player he is close to experience.

In his statement, he advises the Sasa Kalajdzic to remain at current club, Stuttgart than vie for a move elsewhere amidst reports that the Premier League club are coming for him.

Manchester United after the latest injury on Anthony Martial and rumors of an exit for Marcus Rashford along with the uncertainty of Cristiano Ronaldo’s allegiances, are currently on the look out for a striker going into the new season.

The 25 year old Kalajdzic fits the bill for their striker profile assuming they do not go for more short term signing.

Since joining Stuttgart, the striker has netted 24 times in 58 games for the club while scoring 6 goals in 15 Bundesliga appearances last season.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were believed to have been interested in a move for the Austrian but decided to back out of the deal in hopes of other targets.

Speaking to Sky Germany, Ragnick said:

“It is important that Sasa remains injury-free this season and trains and plays at the highest possible level,

“If he stays in Stuttgart this season, it will not be detrimental to his development.”

The Austrian speaking on his future told the press:

“I don’t know myself how my future will turn out but that will become apparent in the next few weeks or as soon as possible, but I can’t influence many things either,”

If Ralf Ragnick’s words are anything to go by, it will for sure instill a fear to discourage a move to Old Trafford.
