R. Kelly’s interview with Gayle King helped – Publicist explains

Embattled singer, R Kelly’s publicist, Darell Johnson believes the embattled singer’s interview with Gayle King helped him as his legal battle continues.

Johnson spoke with Don Lemon on CNN Tonight on Monday.

The publicist also addressed issues surrounding the payment of the singer’s child support which landed him in court recently. “He ain’t know,” Johnson explains in the interview when asked if Kelly knew who made the payment.

Johnson told Lemon R. Kelly’s being broke could not be that he mismanaged his money. He suggests that people could have taken advantage of R. Kelly when he was buzzing and making so much.

“Michael Jackson made billions, but he died broke,” Darell Johnson offered.
