PSquare Back Out Of Peter Obi’s Akwa Ibom Rally, Reason Revealed

Twin singing sensation, Peter and Paul Okoye (Psquare), who were reportedly set to perform at the Akwa Ibom campaign rally with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP),Peter Obi have backed out and will no longer show up for the event.

The duo were to thrill supporters alongside the former Anambra governor, who is scheduled for a rally in the South-South state today.

Taking to her Twitter handle, social activist and member of the LP campaign team, Aisha Yesufu noted that the singers were unable to join the rally, following ‘unforeseen circumstances.’

She wrote: “Due to some unforseen circumstances PSquare will not be able to join the Peter Obi rally in Uyo. My apologies . @rudeboypsquare and ⁦@PeterPsquare will be joining us in the coming days.”
