PSG discards Mbappe from Website cover
It is very much safe to say that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Kylian Mbappe are never going to be friends nor remain friends moving forward.
The France international has reportedly been removed from the website cover following the transfer drama that has plagued PSG and Mbappe in recent weeks.
This comes in response to links between the Frenchman and Real Madrid who have developed some sort of feud with the Ligue 1 club in recent years.
Kylian Mbappe despite insistence on staying at the Parc des Princes, continues to be linked with a summer move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The former AS Monaco man is missing from the website cover while the likes of Neymar, Lee Kang-In, Marquinhos, Lucas Hernandez, and Marco Verratti currently dominates the PSG cover.
Added to the feud, Mbappe has so far been left out of the PSG squad that is currently touring Japan and South Korea in their pre-season tours.
Earlier this summer, Mbappe told PSG that he won’t be extending his contract beyond the 2023/2024 season which seems to be the bone of contention as the Parisian club believe the Frenchman already has a contract agreement with Real Madrid.
This has prompted the club to carve out scenarios to force the 24-year-old out of without losing out on a transfer fee as Mbappe’s contract expires next summer.
Mbappe has since been training with PSG’s “undesirables” team to keep himself fit.
PSG’s latest decision to remove Mbappe from their website cover is beyond doubt every indication that the club is closing in to exit their all-time leading goal scorer from the team.
