Prominent lawyer moves motion to have Ronaldo deported

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al-Nassr, is facing potential arrest and deportation from Saudi Arabia after making an alleged obscene gesture towards Al-Hilal fans during a heated match in the Saudi Pro League. The incident took place after Al-Nassr suffered a 2-0 defeat to their rivals Al-Hilal, leaving them three points behind the league leaders, Al-Ittihad.

According to reports, Ronaldo was provoked by chants of Lionel Messi from the opposing fans throughout the game, and as he walked off the pitch at King Fahd International Stadium, he allegedly made the obscene gesture towards the fans. It is unclear what his intentions were, but his actions have attracted the attention of a prominent lawyer and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law advisor, Nouf bin Ahmed.

Bin Ahmed has stated that she has begun the process of petitioning for Ronaldo’s arrest and deportation, citing his alleged indecent public act as a crime that could lead to his expulsion from the country. She has said that she will submit the petition to the Public Ministry of Saudi Arabia.

Speaking about the incident, Bin Ahmed said, “I don’t follow sports. Even if the crowd provoked Ronaldo, he didn’t know how to react. Cristiano’s behaviour is a crime. An indecent public act, which is one of the crimes that allows for arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner. We will present a petition to the Public Ministry regarding the issue.”

It remains to be seen what action will be taken against Ronaldo, who is one of the most high-profile footballers in the world. The incident has caused a stir on social media, with many fans expressing their views on the matter.
