Why I am now supporting Tinubu -- Former Atiku spokesman

The Presidency has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu will return to Nigeria from his trip to Europe on Wednesday.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, announced this via his official handle on Tuesday.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga stated.

Tinubu’s trip to Europe commenced on April 22 when he departed Abuja for the Kingdom of The Netherlands on an official visit. Presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale had earlier indicated that Tinubu’s visit to The Netherlands was at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Subsequently, Tinubu travelled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to participate in a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting from April 28 to 29, following his engagements in The Netherlands.

Although Tinubu was expected to return after the forum in Saudi Arabia, his prolonged absence from the country has sparked speculations about his whereabouts.

With Tinubu’s scheduled return on Wednesday, the speculations surrounding his trip are expected to be laid to rest.
