President Buhari swears in five new Permanent Secretaries

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, swore in five new Permanent Secretaries at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Those sworn in include Ibrahim Yusuf (Katsina), Olusesan Adebiyi (Ekiti), Maryanne Onwudiwe (Enugu), Marcus Ogunbiyi (Lagos), and Ibrahim Abubakar Kana (Nasarawa).

The Permanent Secretaries were sworn in shortly before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) weekly meeting commenced.

The meeting, chaired by President Buhari, was attended by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and the Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari.

Ministers were also physically present at the meeting while the remaining council cabinet members participated virtually from their respective offices.
