The governors who met with the President comprise Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu; Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai; Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello; and Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule.
The meeting might not be unrelated with intense insecurity in the north.
