Sunday August 25th, Nigeria’s President Buhari departed Abuja today, for Japan ahead of the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development scheduled to hold from August 28th to 30th.

 

President Buhari is accompanied by Governors Babagana Zulum, AbdulRaham AbdulRazaq and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Borno, Kwara and Lagos States respectively; ministers and other top government officials.

Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the co-hosts of TICAD 7 is inviting applications for “TICAD 7 Partner Project” to boost the spirit of the upcoming TICAD 7 conference on 28th to 30th August 2019. Projects that are in line with the purpose of TICAD 7 Partner Project will be able to use the TICAD 7 logo after receiving approval and would be listed on the TICAD 7 website.

The President is expected back in Nigeria on Saturday, August 31.
