President Tinubu Mourns Former Speaker, Ghali Na’Abba

Nigeria President, Bola Tinubu has reacted to the death of a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’Abba.

He expressed his condolences to the Na’Abba family, as well as the government and people of Kano State, for their loss.

The presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, made the announcement on Wednesday.

Na’Abba, the House of Representatives Speaker from 1999 to 2003, died on Wednesday.

Tinubu expressed profound grief over his death, recalling the late ex-lawmaker’s contributions to nation-building through legislation, advocacy, and policy.

Tinubu praised Na’Abba’s tenacity in defending the legislature’s functionality and role in governance, describing him as a disciplined and committed politician.

The President prayed for the soul of the deceased and comfort for those who mourned his death.
