Premier League: How Chelsea mauled Wolves 2-6
Chelsea left no stones untouched when mauling Wolves at their home, and they came with the Cold and the frostbite.
It appears the Blues are ready for the new season, and they did so with a statement after hitting Wolverhampton Wanderers with their worst defeat of the new campaign.
The Wolves side looked to threaten the hopes of Chelsea this season when they equalized twice after the West London visitors had twice come from back to cancel the goals of Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer.
However, on return to the second half, Chelsea and Cole Palmer had other ideas as they responded in kind by netting consecutive goals against their hosts and keeping Wolves at bay with 4 goals uncontested.

Cole Palmer again continue his hot form from last season, was chief creator for the result, contributing a goal and 3 assists for Noni Madueke.
New signing Joao Felix who returned 2 seasons after his loan deal at Stamford Bridge got on the score sheet for his dream debut, with Pedro Neto providing an assist for the Portuguese. Noni Madueke however stole the match day ball considering his 3-goal stumping of Wolverhampton for a hattrick at the Molineux.
Nicolas Jackson put some narratives to the table after netting a quick goal to set up a redemption story this season.
Credit to Wolves though, they in large moments of the game did threaten the Blues, particularly in the first half, but the Blues’ performance in the second half does hint at an exciting season coming ahead for Chelsea.
Fans surely will be pleased with Enzo Maresca after witnessing the 2-6 cracker.
