Premier League giants set to pounce on Osimhen
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is in scintillating form for Galatasaray this season, and according to ongoing reports, that form has reignited speculation about his next destination.
Premier League heavyweights Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are reportedly circling for a potential summer swoop.
The Nigerian forward, who has netted eight goals in nine games for the Turkish champions, has quickly become a fan favorite in Istanbul. But despite Osimhen’s public declarations of happiness at Galatasaray, the club faces a monumental challenge in securing his services permanently.
Napoli, who loaned out their star striker, are holding firm on a €75 million (£63m/$79m) price tag—far beyond Galatasaray’s financial reach.

The Osimhen vs. Napoli mess: Who’s really to blame?
While Galatasaray is reportedly exploring creative financial options to meet Napoli’s demands, the uncertainty surrounding the striker’s future has opened the door for England’s elite. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, all of whom were heavily linked to Osimhen last summer, are keeping close tabs on the situation.
Osimhen’s previous exploits in Serie A—scoring 26 goals to secure Napoli’s first Scudetto in 33 years—have cemented his reputation as one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers. Though Napoli’s form faltered the following season, his 15 goals in 25 matches proved his consistency.
Amid the transfer frenzy, the 25-year-old insists he is focused on the present. Speaking to Galatasaray’s media team, he said:
“I’m happy here. I’ve seen what a great family the club is, and they are behaving very well. I’ll stay here until the end of the season.”
However, with Napoli’s high asking price and Galatasaray’s financial constraints, his long-term stay in Turkey looks increasingly unlikely.
For Chelsea and Manchester United, both desperate for a reliable goalscorer, Osimhen represents a marquee signing capable of transforming their attack. Arsenal, meanwhile, could view him as the missing piece to elevate their title ambitions.
All three clubs are reportedly prepared to reignite their interest, knowing the financial muscle of the Premier League could easily outmatch Galatasaray.
