Nigerian musician Habeeb “Portable” Okikiola found himself in an unfortunate incident during a recent show in Kogi State, where he was robbed of his clothes and jewelry by overzealous fans in the audience.

The popular artist took to social media to express his distress after the incident occurred.

According to Portable, he had enthusiastically jumped into the crowd during his performance, but to his dismay, some fans took advantage of the situation and forcibly removed his gold chain, clothes, and neck chain.

While Portable admitted that he willingly threw his wristwatch into the crowd, he claimed that he did not anticipate the audience’s response.

He was shocked when they began taking off his accessories and even caused him physical harm in the process.

The artist expressed confusion as to whether some form of juju (charm) had been used on him, as he was unable to comprehend the events until it was too late.

Lamenting the incident, Portable emphasized that he had initially appeared presentable and well-dressed at the event, but the unfortunate turn of events left him feeling humiliated and comparing himself to a “baboon” as he left the stage.
