Popular singer, Mohbad reportedly dies at 27
Sad news coming out of the Nigerian music industry as Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has passed away at the age of 27.
According to reports from entertainment journalist Ovie on X, the rapper, singer, and songwriter passed away on September 12, 2023. However, the exact cause of his death has not been disclosed yet.
Mohbad was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” but left the label in 2022.
He gained immense popularity for his hit singles, including “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke),” which he collaborated on with Rexxie.
The death of Mohbad is a great loss to the Nigerian music industry, and his fans are in mourning.
