Popular Nigerian Musician confirmed dead

Popular Nigerian musician, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji otherwise known as Oladips has been reported dead.

The tragic news emerged following a distressing incident captured in a video shared online.

In the shared video, Oladips was heard urgently inquiring about his whereabouts, imploring his friend to swiftly transport him to a hospital for medical attention.

Despite the frantic rush to the hospital, the rapper remained unresponsive to the repeated calls from his concerned friends who were heard shouting his name.

In a poignant Instagram story preceding the incident, Oladips had expressed dismay at his friend, Onlyonelifetime, for allegedly abandoning him during a critical period.

However, in an Instagram post, Onlyonelifetime indicated that Oladips’ mother opposed the idea of seeking hospital treatment.

Oladips’ management, in a statement released on Wednesday, confirmed his untimely demise. The statement revealed that the young rapper passed away on Tuesday evening at 10:14 pm, leaving the music industry and fans in disbelief.

Expressing shock and grief, the management disclosed that Oladips had been privately battling undisclosed challenges for over two years. They further announced that arrangements for the funeral service will be communicated once finalized.

The statement concluded by urging respect for the family’s privacy during this difficult period and extended prayers for strength to cope with the profound loss.
