The statement said that the arrest was based on intelligence received, which led the ICPC operatives to swiftly apprehend the suspect.

The selling of new naira notes is an illegal activity, and the EFCC and ICPC have warned the public against it.

The agencies are working together to curb the menace of corruption and illegal activities in the country, and the arrest of Simisola Gold is a testament to this effort.

Individuals were advised to follow the law and refrain from engaging in illegal activities, such as hoarding or selling new naira notes, as the EFCC and ICPC will not hesitate to take appropriate legal action against anyone found guilty of such activities.
