Police threatens actor Akah at gun point after accusing him of using Jazz
Nollywood actor Akah Nnani has narrated how he was harassed and almost ‘wasted ‘ by an officer of the law during a taxi ride.
Akah Nnani narrated his ordeal in the hands of a police officer, in a post on his Instagram page.
Via a video, Nnani revealed how his taxi was flagged down by police officers, about 20 of them, along Ring Road Bridge.
According to him, the officers were conducting a stop-and-search operation using a shuttle bus instead of the known official police vehicle.
While in the taxi, the father of one alleged that a police officer walked up to the vehicle, and threatened him at gunpoint without explaining what his crime was.
When Nnani stood up to the police officer for such harassment, the security personnel vexed in anger, asked them to drive to a dark alley, away from the bridge and other road users.
However, when the actor refused, they insisted on searching him and that was when they saw his home key which had a local drum attached to it, they accused him of having a charm.
The actor explained that they only allowed him to leave after asking him his profession and going through the photos and videos on his phone.
