Farah Dagogo, a member representing the Degema/Bonny Constituency of the House of Representatives and governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, has been detained in police custody.

A Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt and presided over by Chief Magistrate Amadi Nna gave the order following the lawmaker’s arraignment on Friday.
The lawmaker has been averse to misgovernance in Rivers and believed that if he is voted into office in 2023 as governor of Rivers State, he would vacate the perpetual injunction against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other anti-graft agencies to investigate the accounts of Rivers State government.
