The Oyo State Police Command has declared that no fewer than fourteen (14) people have been arrested in connection with the recent clashes that occurred in some areas within Ibadan metropolis.
It will be recalled that many people were injured while properties worth millions of naira were destroyed when some people suspected to be hoodlums unleashed terror in Oke-Ado area on Tuesday.
Some houses were reportedly burgled during the incident.
Spokesman of the Command, Adekunle Ajisebutu while confirming the arrest of the fourteen suspects, however, declared that peace had returned to the area.
He said that investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the clash had commenced.
