Police arrest man for allegedly torturing his stepson with hot knife over N20 theft in Edo
Operatives of the Police Command in Edo State has arrested an Akwa Ibom man over the alleged torture of his young stepson.
TopNaija gathered that the incident happened at Erediuwa Quarter off Sapele Road in Benin City, Edo state on Saturday, May 16.
According to a neighbour, who spoke to activist and coordinator of human rights group, Talakwa Parliament, the suspect allegedly assaulted the boy and burned his body with a hot knife claiming he stole N20 to buy groundnut and sugar which he used to drink Garri.
