Pogba who? Max Allegri may not know who Paul Pogba is
The summer transfer window is most often the time when club football managers get bored answering questions from journalists on transfer moves and gossip. Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus manager isn’t exempted from it.
In fact, if anything, he is bored having to answer Journalists’ enquiries as regards transfer rounds, and he most definitely has found a new way to avoid confirming or debunking scoops on transfers; play ignorant.
The internet and reports have currently being filled with rumors of Pogba’s next club or next move or if eventually he will extend his United contract. The Man United midfielder has been linked with a lot of clubs, notably Manchester City, who are claimed to be interested in his services, and a return to Juventus.
Allegri, when asked about the player, joked about Pogba’s possible return to Juventus as journalists told him of the news that mentioned the club having a meeting Rafaela Pimenta, who acts as the player’s agent following the death of Mino Raiola.
The manager, with a smile on his face, asked who the player was as he pretended not to have ever heard of the Frenchman: “Pogba? Who’s Pogba? I don’t know him… Is it an English word? I don´t know, I’m forgotten about him, it was many years ago…” he said.
Tactically, the Italian evaded the question much to the chagrin of scoopers.
Pogba, in the moment is said to be in a dilemma on his rumored move away from Manchester United, as 2 clubs; PSG, Juventus are in for his signature. The player has rejected a move to Manchester City, where as it is reported Juventus are not willing to over the wages PSG are willing to offer.
