Please let me stay—Arsenal player begs

Talk about a highly promising player who came to Arsenal on the back of a very good season at Lille in a club record fee of £72miillion that the Gunners are rumored to haven’t completed its payment, only to turn out to be the most criticized.

Arsenal winger, Nicolas Pepe has in response, promised this season will be quite the different one as the Premier League season gears on for a start.

The Ivorian despite interests from a host of clubs such as Leeds United, Sevilla, Marseille and Lyon is intent on proving himself at Arsenal.

Though his 3 seasons at the Gunners proved to be quite the failure regarding the expectations he came under, the player still wants to remain at the Emirates.

He started just five league games last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

With reports in England claiming he is deemed by Arsenal as surplus to requirements, the Ivorian is trying all his best to impress the club.

Arsenal has placed a price tag of around £25m for the player who now has two years left on his contract at the Emirates.

He featured in all three preseason games for Arsenal against Everton, Orlando City and Chelsea.

With the Gunners set to return to the United Kingdom, the 27-year-old has told his manager he is ready to fight for a first-team role.

“I worked hard during the summer. Changed a lot of things.

“I’m focused and determined with Arsenal and my teammates,” Pepe wrote on Instagram.
