“Please do it for us sir” – Reactions as Elon Musk plans on buying Manchester United fc

Tesla and Space X CEO, Elon Musk has generated a series of reactions after he revealed his plan to buy English Premier League giants, Manchester United.

The billionaire businessman and world’s richest man, Elon Musk took to his Twitter handle in the early hours of Wednesday to disclose his plans to buy the football club.

He wrote: “Also, I’m buying Manchester United ur welcome”.

Musk’s tweet follows a shambolic Premier League performance by Manchester United against Brentford on Saturday, August 13.

Manchester UNITED conceded four goals in the opening 35 minutes in a 4-0 drubbing as their woeful start to the Premier League season continued.

Meanwhile, fans of the English football club who are no longer comfortable with the current club’s owners, the Glazer family, and asserted their vexation leadership, welcomed Elon Musk’s tweet with open arms.

However, on a follow up tweet, the billionaire stated that it was indeed a tweeted joke and he is not willing to boy any football club.

No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I’m not buying any sports teams,” Musk said.

He further explained that if he was to buy any club at all it would be the Manchester outfit because, according to him, it was his childhood favorite. Wait, does Elon Musk now watch soccer?

“Although, if it were any team, it would be Man U. They were my fav team as a kid,” the billionaire added.
