Nigerian singer. Peter Okoye popularly known as Mr P of the defunct Psquare, has threatened to sue a show promoter for using his photo to sell Paul Okoye, his twin brother’s show in Angola.

Pub Four, the organiser, had announced the show on its Instagram page using the picture of Peter and his brother. It said that the duo are expected to perform in the event on May 26, in Angola.

“P-Squere a caminho de Angola/Luanda,” it wrote.

Peter, however, did not quite find it funny that his photo was being used to advertise a show that had nothing to do with him.

The singer took to his Instagram page, which is followed by over 6.2 million users, to declare his threat.

Na Wa o! So they needed my image to sell their show Angola. This promoters @pubfoureventos you’ll be hearing from my lawyers soon. #UnaDonFindMyTrouble. SWIPE LEFT My dear People in Addis Ababa Ethiopia?? , I just arrived. No need to panic, I’m here! This is the reason I have to make it clear. I can’t begin to tell you what I have had to deal with in the last couple of days. My management being accused of double booking me, promoters panicking, fans in Angola saying how they’re looking forward to my performing in Luanda Angola. Let’s be clear, no need to make this emotional and being sentimental. It is a matter of integrity and business. Nothing else! I have to protect my name and image; that’s all! Again the promoters and organizers of that event/festival have to be held accountable. My legal team is on it. Thank you.

Paul, also known as Rudeboy, had shared a photo of himself and his crew heading to Angola alone without Peter.

“Angola?? coming through,” he wrote.

It is believed that the show would go on without Peter.

Peter had once said he has no regret leaving the Psquare team he once shared with Paul to pursue a solo career.
