Peter Okoye sends love note to wife from Atlanta as brother battles divorce
Popular Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has poured out his heart to his beautiful wife Lola Omotayo, who clocked 47 today.
In a message to his 11.4million Instagram followers, Peter reminded Lola of how inestimable she has been to him, their kids and the people around them.
Okoye, a.k.a Mr.P of the defunct Psquare group, who is now in Atlanta Georgia, on a U.S. tour, wrote:
“To my dear Wife @lolaomotayo_okoye
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
“I want to take this opportunity to remind you how wonderful you are, not only to me but to all the people whose lives you touched everyday”.
Lola, in a post on her own Instagram page, simply thanked God for preserving her till date.
“Grateful! Thankful for another year. Glory be to the Almighty God,” she wrote.
Both Lola and Peter, who is 40 in November, married in 2013.
They have two children together, a boy and a girl.
After dating for seven years, Peter Okoye got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Titilola Loretta Omotayo. Omotayo is a marketing representative. The couple have a son Cameron and daughter Aliona.
On 17 November 2013, the two held their traditional wedding at The Ark in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the marriage between Peter’s brother, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy and his entrepreneur wife, Anita Okoye is reportedly over as Anita has filed a petition for a divorce.
