Peter Obi seeks support of traditional leaders for 2023 presidential race
Former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has notified traditional rulers in his state of his intention to join the 2023 presidential race.
The former vice presidential aspirant met with the monarchs on Thursday.
He said, “I have come to inform you of my intention to contest the 2023 presidential election. I need your support”.

Obi will officially declare his presidential ambition on Friday, The Punch reports.
“The Nigeria I’ll lead will create jobs, boost our economy, improve education. If I have the opportunity, I’ll turn around the country for better. I’ll move Nigeria from a consuming nation to a productive nation,” he said.
